How to Care for Your Candle
The First Burn
The first time you light your candle, let it burn until the wax melts across the entire surface to the edges of the jar. This prevents 'tunneling' and ensures an even burn for the life of your candle. For our soy and jelly waxes, this usually takes 2-3 hours.
Burning Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
- Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts and vents.
- Do not move the candle while it is burning or the wax is liquid.
Eco-Friendly Habits
Stop burning when only 1cm of wax remains. As an eco-conscious shop, we encourage you to clean out the remaining wax and reuse your glass jar as a planter, stationery holder, or storage container. Our jars are fully recyclable if you choose not to repurpose them.
Follow these simple steps to ensure your handmade eco-friendly candles burn safely, beautifully, and for as long as possible.
Wick Maintenance
- Always trim the wick to about 5mm before every relight.
- This helps control the flame size and prevents soot buildup.
- If the flame becomes too high or flickers excessively, extinguish it, let it cool, trim, and relight.
Duration & Space
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the glass from overheating. For the best scent throw, choose a room size appropriate for the candle diameter—smaller jars for bathrooms or desks, larger jars for living areas.

Returns and Refund Policy
Your happiness is our priority. If you are not fully satisfied with your candle, we are here to assist you with simple steps.
1. Return Conditions
You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind. Items must be sent back in their original condition, unused and in complete packaging. All of our candles are eligible for return if these specific conditions are strictly met.
2. Step-by-Step Procedure
- Email our customer support to start your request. Once approved, you will get return instructions. Ship your parcel to our studio in Germany for processing and inspection.
3. Refund Terms and Details
Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days after we receive and inspect your package. Funds will be sent to your original payment method. Please note that return shipping costs are the customer's duty, unless the item is defective.
